Jake Barker (Branch Manager)
How long have you been in the industry?
I have been in the industry since I was 18 and with PGR for four and a half years.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I enjoy interacting with customers and other staff that are down to earth and easy to get on with. Whilst the job can be challenging, it is rewarding to give customers the best service we can.
What do you do in your spare time?
In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym and during lockdown I have found a love for countryside strolls! I also love to travel whenever I can as I enjoy exploring new countries.
Fun fact about yourself?
I travelled Asia for two months before the pandemic hit and just about made it home before lockdown!
Peter Feber-Wood (Assistant Branch Manager)
How long have you been in the industry?
I have been in the industry for nearly five years now.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love the fact that every day is different.
What do you do in your spare time?
In my spare time, I enjoy playing rugby and I really enjoy a good beer!
Fun fact about yourself?
In a past life I used to swim nationally for Essex, I can finish a pint in under 5 seconds and I am planning on completing five triathlons next year (would have been this year but COVID has put a delay on that)!
George Atkins (Shop Supervisor)
How long have you been in the industry?
I started as a Management Trainee six months ago, but I have done previous yard work throughout college and university.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I enjoy the interaction with the customers.
What do you do in your spare time?
I enjoy going to the gym, watching Tottenham disappoint me on a weekly basis and love to travel.
Fun fact about yourself?
I sang This Love by Maroon 5 at a bar in Vietnam and had the whole crowd buzzing (and yes I do have a good voice)!
