PGR Maldon - Now Open!

We are pleased to announce we have officially opened the doors to PGR Maldon today (Wednesday 28th April 2021)!

Having a branch based in Maldon is a fantastic opportunity as this allows us to help the local community build or renovate their property using an independent builders merchant they can rely on.

As part of our commitment to the local community, we are pleased to be platinum sponsors of The Maldon Mud Race 2021!

Whether you are trade or retail, we look forward to welcoming you to our branch!

What makes us different?

We aim to provide a fresh approach to merchanting in Maldon and stock a lot of products the Nationals don’t such as, Render, James Hardie products, Millboard Composite decking and much more!

We also keep the majority of our timber inside to keep it dry and reduce twisting.

How long have you been in the industry?

I have been in the industry for 28 years.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I enjoy meeting different people every day - no day is the same!

What do you do in your spare time?

In my spare time, I enjoy playing golf and drink Jack Daniels.

Fun fact about yourself?

I used to DJ - DJ Reckless!

Joe Jones (Assistant Branch Manager)

How long have you been in the industry?

I have been in the industry for four years - I joined PGR in January 2021.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

What I like most is that every day is different and there is always something new to learn.

What do you do in your spare time?

Spare time... down the pub! If the football is on then that’s a bonus!

Fun fact about yourself?

When we’re out I’ll make Shelby (girlfriend) order a Malibu and Coke so the boys don’t judge me for having one!

Bobby Gould (Shop Supervisor)

How long have you been in the industry?

I have been in the industry for just over two years. I started as a Management Trainee with PGR and have since been promoted to Shop Supervisor.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Working with good people and having a laugh with customers.

What do you do in your spare time?

Spending time with family and going to the pub (now they're open)!

Fun fact about yourself?

I used to work at a Go-Karting track.
