Supporting Havens Hospices: Our Local Charity Partner

At PGR Timber, we believe in giving back to the community that has supported us for over 40 years. That’s why we’ve partnered with Havens Hospices, a local charity close to our hearts, offering end-of-life care and support to those who need it most.
In all 10 of our branches, we have collection boxes available year-round for customers who wish to contribute to this vital cause. However, we also love to get creative with our fundraising efforts. One way we do this is through fun, in-branch competitions that bring our staff and customers together while supporting a great cause.
For our 40th anniversary in July, we ran an exciting darts competition called "Hit 40 to Win," with all proceeds going directly to Havens Hospices. Participants had the chance to test their dart-throwing skills, aiming to hit 40 with three darts to win a bottle of PGR wine or hit a double top to win PGR gin. With just £1 per go, the event turned into a fun and engaging way for our customers to support a charity we hold dear.

Most recently, we were proud to donate £682.32 to Havens Hospices, a total raised through both our collection boxes and in-branch events like the darts competition. These donations go a long way in helping Havens Hospice continue to provide compassionate care to individuals and families across the region.
Our partnership with Havens Hospices is ongoing, and we look forward to continuing our fundraising efforts with more events and opportunities to get involved. Every little helps in making a difference to those who need it most and we're grateful to everyone who has contributed to the cause so far.
