This lightweight and water-resistant board is ideal for bathrooms, wet rooms, and other moisture-prone environments. It is available in 2 thickness options and can be easily cut by scoring and snapping, speeding up the installation process. For best results, it should be installed with the rough face upward.
Coolag TileBacker Cement Board is the preferred surface to tile onto due to its strength and durability. When tiling walls, the 12mm board is recommended to support the weight of the tiles. Fix directly to wall studs set at 400mm centres using a minimum 45mm screw spaced at 150mm intervals.
Always apply a high-quality tile adhesive using a notched trowel. The size of the notch should correspond to the thickness of the tile. Tiles must be placed while the adhesive remains wet to ensure proper bonding and to avoid installation failure.... View more
