Description

A high-performance insulation and structural block specifically designed to eliminate cold bridging at the base of walls. Every new build must meet strict energy efficiency standards, and while thicker insulation in walls, floors, or roofs can help, heat will still escape through cold bridges if left untreated. Marmox Thermoblocks solve this problem by being installed at the bottom of the inner leaf, cutting out these weak points completely and allowing the entire building to perform to its full thermal potential.

Made from a combination of insulating polystyrene and structural material, Thermoblocks behave like concrete blocks but deliver exceptional insulation properties. They have a thermal conductivity of just 0.053 W/mK and a compressive strength of 9N/mm², ensuring both durability and energy efficiency. Once these thermal weak spots are dealt with, less insulation is required throughout the rest of the structure, helping save on materials and reducing wall thickness while still maintaining comfort and warmth.

Marmox Thermoblocks are lightweight, waterproof, and easy to cut, making them simple to install using standard mortar.
