Description

Renderplas plastic stop beads are PVCu stop beads designed for use on all external and internal rendering and plastering applications, giving a clean, discreet finish to both colour render and traditional sand and cement render. They offer a value for money alternative to stainless steel beads and are suitable wherever a durable, corrosion free edge trim is needed.

Made from cost effective recycled exterior grade PVCu, these beads are impact resistant and UV stable, and are guaranteed not to stain or corrode like galvanised steel beads, reducing spalling and impact damage over time. Designed to outlast their metal counterparts, they are guaranteed fit for purpose for the lifetime of the render and for at least 25 years. They match the stipulations of BS EN 13658-2:2005, the British and European standard for the design requirements of metal beads and lath, and are BBA certified and Class 1Y fire rated. They are not affected by weather. BS EN 13914-1:2016, the British and European standard for the design and application of external render, stipulates that only PVC beads and stainless steel beads can be used in all applications, including situations of high atmospheric or background moisture and high atmospheric or background salt.
