Description

Proctor Wraptite Breathable Tape is designed to stop unnecessary air leakage through gaps and cracks in the building fabric, which can otherwise significantly reduce the thermal performance and efficiency of a structure. It is suitable for both internal and external applications, making it a versatile choice across a wide range of building projects.

The tape is air-tight and tear resistant, with high vapour permeability, and bonds fully to all standard substrates to suppress air leakage around joints, openings and penetrations. It is also suitable for permanent air-tight sealing of membrane overlaps. For installation, the tape should be applied to vertical and horizontal joints between insulation boards, with surfaces kept clean and free of dirt and grease; once positioned, pressure should be applied using a hand roller to ensure successful adhesion.
